JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Microsoft Office SharePoint Server (MOSS) Administrator will be responsible for the installation, performance, support and maintenance of all SharePoint and .Net based Enterprise Level Applications.
JOB DUTIES:

Responsible for the installation, performance, support and maintenance of all SharePoint and .Net based Enterprise Level Applications

Makes technical recommendations in the area of performance improvements and availability such as redundancy architecture and load balancing.

Manages all updates, patches, bug fixes, and other deployments to the applications and the MOSS Farm.

Maintains and administers Sharepoint Search Services, Shared Services Providers, and Microsoft Excel Calculation services in a high paced environment, and have working knowledge and experience integrating Sharepoint 2007 with Active Directory.

Ensure the integrity and security of SharePoint data in accordance with business needs and industry best-practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.

Perform and test routine SharePoint backups and restores.

Work with Business Process Analysts to design and develop Sharepoint functionalities that meet business requirements

Design, develop, and implement Web-enabled applications using ASP .NET 2.0 / 3.5, JavaScript, Visual Studio 2005/2008, Microsoft Team System, Cascading Style Sheets, HTML, basic Java script and other Microsoft-based technologies

Where necessary, manage and/or provide guidance to junior members of the team.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Prior experience administering, developing, and maintaining Sharepoint 2003 portal sites

Experience investigating and resolving SharePoint performance issues, such as front end web server performance, indexing performance, and Structured Query Language (SQL) performance.

Knowledge of troubleshooting techniques for MOSS configuration, Business Data Catalog (BDC) application, and web part issues
-
Experience installing MOSS via a farm as well as configuration of SSL, Domains, Single Sign-On (SSO) and experience with Common Access Card (CAC) via SharePoint

Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008

Knowledge and familiarity with Sharepoint Disaster Recovery techniques and best practices

Knowledge of load-balancing technologies and other up-time technologies

Experience with development and deployment of web parts and BDC applications
-
Knowledge and experience working with and establishing workflows within the Sharepoint environment
-
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
-
Strong customer service skills and customer relationship management experience
-
Excellent organization, communication and writing skills, and have the ability to express yourself in technical discussion via strategy, implementation and design of MOSS environments
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS:
-
BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or any other information technology related field required

Minimum of 6 years or greater work experience in the technology field required.

Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist desired

Microsoft Certified Master desired
CLEARANCES:
-
Current TS/SCI clearance with SSBI conducted in with/in the last 36 months required
-
Ability to obtain a Presidential Support Duty/YW clearance
