About the role:

As a Senior Product Director at Raft, you will lead Raft's strategic product vision through the development of product roadmaps across the entire Raft portfolio, partnering closely with the cross-functional Go-To-Market (GTM) team. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee Raft-led product solutions developed in collaboration with government partners, managing the entire lifecycle from Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to Full Operational Capability (FOC). This role requires a deep understanding of market trends and customer needs, which you will use to drive product innovation, increase market share, and expand into new markets. Your leadership will also be pivotal in mentoring product managers and fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

What we are looking for:

  • The Senior Product Director will be a key player in driving the future of Raft's product lines, ensuring that the products not only meet the current market demands but also anticipate future trends and opportunities. This role is ideal for a visionary leader looking to make a significant impact on the technological advancements in government and defense sectors.
  • Product Roadmap: Ability to partner with the cross-functional GTM team to create milestone-based roadmaps for Raft's product offerings and grow adoption into new and existing customers.
  • Stakeholder Management: Experience in overseeing the entire product lifecycle from MVP to FOC, including roadmap planning, development, and release, specifically for Raft-led product solutions developed in partnership with the government.
  • Market Research and Innovation: Proven track record of conducting market research and competitive analysis to continuously understand market trends and customer needs. Ability to leverage this information to inform roadmaps and develop new product lines, thus increasing market share and expanding into new markets.
  • Leadership: Demonstrable experience in mentoring product managers and other product team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture. Expertise in enabling delivery via sprints, program increments, and ultimately on milestones and the roadmap.
  • Product Marketing: Strong collaboration skills with engineering, marketing, and growth teams to deliver a cohesive strategy for product (re)launches, including positioning, messaging, etc.
  • Performance Metrics: Expertise in defining and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success, evaluate ROI, drive continuous improvement, and mitigate risks.

Highly preferred:

  • A strategic thinker with a passion for product innovation and a knack for pinpointing unique market opportunities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts in plain language and influencing stakeholders across various levels.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for customer engagement and team collaboration.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a keen ability to turn data analysis into actionable growth strategies.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligiblity

Work Type:

  • Remote
  • Will require up to 45% travel
