Overview

R&P is looking for a detail oriented individual who wants to join our team. We are a small-sized defense contractor providing Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need an Office Manager ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment.

Responsibilities

You will provide direct support to the Program Manager and Deputy Program Manger as part of the Program Integration Team responsible for managing all day-to-day office managment and administrative tasks. Responsibilities include:

    Track, consolidate, report, filter actions and tasks.
  • Technical Writing to include development of standard operating procedures, guides, business operations guidelines, etc.
  • Develop and maintain organizational resources to include rosters, references, and other documentation related to office management.
  • Requires an independent, self-motivated and critical thinker that takes initiative and completes reports/tasks in an independent and timely manner.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve task objectives.
  • Demonstrate excellent writing and presentation skills to develop recommendations, briefings, documents, papers, and conceptual and analytical reports for clients.
  • Develop / Maintain / Support SharePoint resources for related tasking.
  • Develop formal correspondence in accordance with the Navy Correspondence Manual.
  • Draft military and civilian awards and performance reports.
Qualifications

The successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in organization management, human resources or related field OR significant relevant experience
  • 5-15 years of experience in program management, organizational management
  • Familiarity with Navy Correspondance, Fitness Reports, and Awards
  • Ability to interpret client requirements and quickly develop solutions
  • Strong communication skills; need to interact with senior clients one on one and assess needs
  • Strong Microsoft Office suite skills to include Excel, MS Word and Powerpoint
  • Familiarity with SharePoint tool suite integration in Business Operations
  • SECRET Clearance

Location Requirements:

* HQ / Washington Navy Yard - Available up to 3 times per week to support meetings / engagements / team interaction

Salary
