Job Summary:

Dexian is seeking a Senior .Net Developer for an opportunity with a client locateed in McLean, VA.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, implement, and verify the back-end system for an Engineering application
• Resolve technical challenges and aid in implementing an Electronic Control Unit (ECU) parameter creation tool
• Manage timelines and communicate workload and obstacles to the Scrum Master
• Conduct architectural reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and standards
• Collaborate with front-end developers in an agile-based project, coordinating deliverables
• Ensure compliance with software quality processes and standards
• Assist the Scrum Master in understanding the complexity and estimating User Stories
• Build a platform for future project phases
• Design and develop a customer-facing web application using advanced Microsoft technologies
• Develop an API using C#.NET and IBM DB2 as the data source, integrated with ReactJS for configuring Vehicle Electronic Control Units (ECU)
• Integrate the Web API with the ReactJS UI and ensure successful deployment to servers, including internal and external applications with SiteMinder authentication
• Maintain and deploy builds to development, test, staging, and production environments using automated build systems (CI/CD) such as Microsoft Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GIT, and Urban code deploy
• Ensure data integrity by defining table and foreign key constraints and writing advanced Transact-SQL statements for querying and modifying data
• Develop test cases using NUnit and perform various types of testing, including Unit Testing, Integration Testing, and Regression Testing of the API using frameworks like Rhino Mocks and Moq to ensure code quality

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or the foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems Security, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field, and six (6) years of experience in a software engineering occupation
• Experience in a software engineering occupation must include the following:
• 5 years of experience with .Net Framework, MVC, ADO .Net, LDAP, HTML, XML, DB2, SQL Server; XML technologies including DTD, XML schema
• 4 years of experience with Unit testing using Moq and Rhino Mocks
• 3 years of experience working on large projects and building Complex Web APIs with .Net Core; 3 years of development experience with JSON REST and Agile/SAFe based development processes
• 3 years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server, AQT/IBM Db2 Studio; Azure DevOps; Azure deployment, Kubernetes
