Responsibilities

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable process. Your duties will include:

  • Processing invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies
  • Ensuring timely payments to vendors
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of accounts payable transactions
  • Collaborating with internal departments to resolve invoice issues
  • Assisting with month-end closing processes
  • Maintains electronic files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, following company policy and accepted accounting practices.
  • Review all appropriate documentation and approvals prior to payment.
  • Reconciles vendor statements, research and correct discrepancies, and responds to all vendor inquiries.
  • Assists with 1099 maintenance.
  • Assisting with month-end closing processes
  • Understanding of purchase order 3 way matching process preferred
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks without losing focus
  • Superior customer service skills

    • Excellent organizational, analytical and problem solving skills
    • Ability to handle a high volume accounting work in an organized manner while staying focused on priorities and remaining professional
    • Must be detail orientated and customer focused
    • Self-motivated and results-oriented.
    • Must be a United States citizen.
    • Knowledgeable of Excel
    • Knowledgeable of Deltek Costpoint

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent work experience will be considered.
