Job Description

Data Systems Analysts, Inc. is searching for a Power Platform Developer in our Enterprise Services Group Business Unit supporting MilTech Solutions (Customer: MilTech USAASC). This position requires a DOD Secret Clearance. This Power Platform Developer will work as part of a team that develops and delivers Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and data visualization solutions to the government customer.
This role provides Power Platform Developer support to a dynamic organization supporting the Army. The government customer team works in partnership with the DSA team and subcontractors to provide a cohesive support model to a varied customer base. Team members are respected and recognized for their role on the team. There is potential for professional development and career growth for motivated candidates.
This is a full-time position with remote capability. Position can be fully remote, preference to candidates in National Capital Region/Crystal City.


Required Qualifications

  • Proficient in developer Power BI dashboards
  • Highly Proficient in Power Apps development
  • Highly Proficient in SharePoint Online (SPO)
  • Highly Proficient in Power Automate
  • Experience with Army 365 (A365) or Microsoft Office 365
  • Solid understanding of requirements gathering and analysis
  • COMPTIA Security + certification
  • Related computing environment certification (EX: Microsoft Power Platform 100, 200, or 400)

Required Certifications:
  • Computing Environment (CE) relative to the position (EX: Microsoft Power Platform 100, 200, or 400 other related certifications can be considered) - Certification preferred upon hire but can be acquired within 90 days for otherwise well qualified candidate
  • Proficient in data modeling
  • Proficient in data visualization design
  • Proficient in data security concepts
  • Understanding of Power BI Premium Workspaces
  • Awareness of Army Vantage
  • Awareness of Dataverse

Key Responsibilities
  • Support development and delivery of data visualizations, Power Apps and Power Automate solutions
  • Direct engagement with customers to define project requirements and manage customer expectations
  • Data model development
  • Stakeholder communications including formal and informal presentations
  • Develop data visualization solutions
  • Define and communicate technical project plans, roadmaps, and schedules
  • Creation of dashboards/Business Intelligence (BI) solutions based on key performance indicators and customer requirements
  • Acquire and manage Power BI Premium Capacity workspaces
  • Develop and share training and reference materials
