Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Senior Client Advocate to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The ideal candidate will act as the relationship manager supporting Peraton's Data Center and Cloud Optimization Program (DCCO) program. As a Client Advocate, this individual will serve as a primary liaison to the Department of Homeland Security's (DHS) and act as the client's advocate and their voice into Peraton.

Must be local to the DC Metro area. Required to travel within the DC Region to customer and non-customer sites.

Day to Day Work Responsibilities:

    Ensure client satisfaction remains high, based upon quality, value-add & service delivery excellence.
  • Uncover new opportunities to create value, expand footprints, and improve performances.
  • Manages and oversees the business and contractual aspects of the client's projects and operations & maintenance services being provided to the DHS client.
  • Serve as a first escalation point for programmatic and contractual issues that occur on the client's programs.
  • Ensure achievement of all business objectives and coordinate with clients to ensure optimal processes.
  • Prepare information flows to report on the business to the client.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and provide support to customers on all process improvement processes and maintain effective professional relationships with all client's.
  • Remain knowledgeable of Peraton offerings and catalog services, to bring thought leadership to the DHS client and guide these incremental services to the appropriate contract vehicle.
  • Remain current and knowledge of the DHS components hierarchies. Use existing relationships to develop new ones. Solicit and gain meetings with customers. Partner internally with OU Director and BD alignments when appropriate.
  • Be a single point of contact for the client transition from Task Order execution to Peraton project initiation.
  • Foster relevant client briefings to ensure broad exposure to the breath of Peraton, so to map them to client's objectives and their drivers for innovation.
  • Be able to manage a pipeline and track opportunities.
  • Identify content setbacks and effectiveness and determine the best content strategy moving forward.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship required; Must have an Active Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree and 8 years' experience or Master's degree and 6 years' experience.
  • 5+ years' experience supporting federal DHS customers in an advocate or engagement role.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to impartially investigate customers concerns, acting as an advocate for the customer as appropriate.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, multitasking, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exemplary communication, analytical skills, and technical knowledge across the client environment.
  • Ability to produce concise and clear technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ITIL v4 Certification
  • PMP Certification

Target Salary Range
$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
