Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

    Providing application support and services for BHA web, intranet, site and/or social media platforms.
  • Collaborating with the respective website product owners to develop a plan to maintain and support the platform.
  • Maintaining development/test environments to perform code fixes/modifications and to test system changes prior to the deployment to the production environment.
  • Providing timely content management, development and/or publishing of BHA responses-specific information such as Situation Reports, Facts Sheets, and Annual Reports.
  • Deploying updated versions to the production environment in accordance with change and release management processes.
  • Following Agile development methodology, plan and execute releases for ongoing continual improvements as directed by the Government.
  • Maintaining government required documents as required.
  • Providing support to create, coordinate, and post content for the website.
  • Tracking and analyzing usage data and provide insights and/or recommendations.
  • Performing annual and/or as needed updates of Technical Architecture Design (TAD), strategic communications plan and content management plan.
  • Coordinating with federal employees to evaluate current structure, operations, and content of the BHA website, providing recommendations for improvements.
  • Evaluating and analyzing BHA website statistics and user feedback, providing recommendations to improve the effectiveness of the website.
  • Supporting monthly meetings with providing updates and technical training as appropriate.
  • Supporting website design and ensuring website meets the standards for 508 compliance, and other federal or agency specific requirements. `
  • Providing technical and process support to the Website Governance Board.

Qualifications

Basic Qualification:

  • U.S. Citizen; eligible for U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
  • 6 years' experience or BS/BA with 2 - 4 years, or MS with 1 - 3 years; four (4) years of experience can be substituted in lieu of a bachelor's degree.
  • Ability to support 24x7x365 website operations.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure web applications.
  • Experience with Qualys to performed web application security vulnerability testing.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English are required.
  • Proven capacity to develop concise, professional, high-quality web content.
  • Sharp analytical skills: ability to research, evaluate and explain concepts.
  • Strong background and advanced capabilities in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong background and advanced capabilities in Adobe Creative suite.
  • Strong background in Google Analytics.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • 3-5 years of job-related experience preferred.
  • Experience or interest in graphic design.
  • Experience or interest in Section 508.

Target Salary Range
$51,000 - $82,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
