Applications Programmer

LOCATION: Remote


LinTech Global is looking for a candidate to join our team as an Applications Developer to provide support to the IRSCI client in Portfolio Management and Acquisitions and Contracts (PMAC). This task includes the oversight and governance of IT projects and contracts as well as IT request management.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILIES:
  • Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems.
  • Prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written.
  • Designs, codes, tests, debug, documents, and maintain those programs.
  • Competent to work on most phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES & SKILLS:
  • Analyze functional business applications and design specifications for functional areas such as finance, accounting, personnel, manpower, logistics, and contracts.
  • Develop block diagrams and logic flow charts.
  • Test, debug, and refine the computer software to produce the required product.
    Experience working in SharePoint 2010, SharePoint Designer 2010, InfoPath 2010, SharePoint 2013, SharePoint Designer 2013, Power BI, Power Platform, and Automation
  • Prepare required documentation, including both program-level and user-level documentation.
  • Enhance software to reduce operating time or improve efficiency.
  • Provide technical direction to programmers to ensure program deadlines are met.
  • Experience in information system design, including application programming on large-scale DBMS and the development of complex software to satisfy design objectives.
  • In this capacity, the candidate will provide support in the design of software components for building enterprise-wide application systems for meeting administrative and managerial needs.
  • Redesigning existing applications and developing new applications preferably using non-custom development SharePoint or if requirements call for it using 'light' development using SharePoint designer, InfoPath, or basic .NET coding to fulfill the requirements.
  • Rewriting and re-engineering custom development and solutions as needed.
  • Experience implementing and deploying custom SharePoint features to enhance out of box SharePoint functionality.
  • Ability to convert business requirements into technical solutions using the appropriate and applicable SharePoint web part(s) using a combination of workflows and Web Development technologies.
  • Maintain and enhance Forecast and Acquisition tools.
  • Streamline processes and incorporate automation.
  • Experience in CI environment is a plus.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
  • B.S. in related field.
  • Must have expert technical knowledge and 7 + years demonstrated experience in application development and programming.
