Project Details:

The state-of-the art operations facility consists of a multi-story, 858,000-square-foot building that will include open office areas, collaborative multi-discipline workspace, computer labs and virtual instruction/distance learning-enable classrooms along with an accompanying 1.2-million-square-foot parking garage. This facility will be built to achieve LEED Silver certification, will comply with Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) standards and will include redundant primary power and Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) systems to ensure continuity of operations. This project is design-build.

Job Description:

Quality Control Specialist to assist the Construction Quality Control Manager on a large Federal project at Fort Meade, Maryland. QC Specialist positions include each of the following disciplines; Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Environmental, Architectural, and Envelope. QC Specialists are required to be present at the construction site and have the noted education and/or experience in their field of expertise. Duties include, but are not limited to, attending and contributing to meetings, performing the three phases of control, preparing documentation for definable features of work, performing field inspections, and overseeing testing and commissioning processes.

Reminder of Minimum Requirements:

Experience in Quality Control role. Engineering degree in area of expertise (Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, Architectural, Environmental, or Envelope) with five years of construction experience or a trade specific licensed journeyman with ten years of similar and relevant field experience.

Must be a US Citizen.
