D365 Business Central - Solution Architect
The D365 BC Solution Architect is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for designing and laying the foundation for the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (D365 BC) solutions that meet the needs of our clients. This role requires a deep understanding of D365 BC functionalities, integration capabilities, and best practices in solution architecture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ERP systems, particularly in D365 BC, along with expertise in integrating various systems within the Microsoft portfolio and external systems such as SalesForce, ADP, etc.

What will you do in this role?
  • Leads the design and architecture of D365 BC solutions based on client requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry best practices. Experience with Construction vertical is highly desirable.
  • Develops integration strategies for connecting D365 BC with other systems within the Microsoft ecosystem (e.g., Dynamics 365 CRM, Azure services) and external systems (e.g., SalesForce, ADP), considering data flows, security, and scalability. Integration Solution Designs should adhere to Microsoft guidelines and particularly to multiplexing rules.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into functional specifications and solution designs.
  • Provides technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the implementation lifecycle, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices.
  • Produces a gap-fit analysis document with a proposed solution for each requirement. Outlines the necessary configuration of D365 BC solutions, leveraging platform capabilities to meet unique business needs while minimizing the need for custom code.
  • Outlines a comprehensive data migration plan that aligns with the scope of the project.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure that implemented solutions meet quality standards, performance requirements, and security protocols.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in D365 BC and related areas, identifying opportunities for process improvements and innovation.
What do you need to succeed in this role?
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing and implementing D365 BC solutions, with a strong focus on integration design using Microsoft portfolio products and external systems.
  • Proficient in D365 BC functionalities (including latest releases),as well as commonly used ISVs. Strong understanding of integration technologies and patterns, including REST APIs, SOAP, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Power Platform, Dataverse, etc.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Impeccable technical writing skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly troubleshoot issues and propose effective solutions. Attention to detail.
  • Relevant certifications in D365 BC and Microsoft integration technologies, as well as Power Platform are highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
  • Strong customer orientation, with a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions that meet or exceed client expectations.
