Summary:
Project HOPE is looking
for a Project Management intern. The Intern will provide project
management support to the Health Affairs Office of the Editor-in-Chief within Project
HOPE. S/he/they will gain valuable knowledge and experience about the technical
aspects of journal production, promotion, and related processes. S/he/they will
also gain a deeper understanding of global and domestic health policy research
and publishing.

Responsibilities:
Meet regularly with Health Affairs Coordinator to review project deliverables
Summarize research findings in a final report
Attend virtual intern sessions and other events
Draft internal recommendations for Health Affairs
Other duties and tasks as assigned
Draft brief social media summaries of journal content
Learning Outcomes:
Exposure to latest health policy research
Learn about various software platforms
Learn to develop smaller-scale policy recommendations
Develop qualitative research skills
Qualifications:
Enrolled in bachelor's program
Strong research, writing, and editing skills
Ability to work effectively and accurately with MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and internet applications
Conduct basic desk research
Ability to work productively in a team environment as well as under minimal supervision, taking the initiative to ask questions as needed
Ability to remain organized and track information in different formats
Interest in health policy preferred
Interest in social media and research communication
