Position Description Summary:
The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, an independent non-profit academic clinical practice group affiliated with the George Washington University, seeks full-time, academic Gastroenterologists for its Division of Gastroenterology within the Department of Medicine. Non-tenure track appointments will be made at a rank (Instructor/Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) commensurate with experience. Gastroenterologists with interventional training are invited to apply.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include providing excellent patient care to hospitalized patients and consultations for outpatients; teaching residents and medical students; and maintaining an active research program.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must be board certified or eligible in Gastroenterology, and eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia at the time of appointment. Applicants must have a record of providing excellent clinical care, research productivity, and clinical teaching, as demonstrated by experience, publications, evaluations, and/or references.
Advertised Salary: Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
