About the Job: An Enterprise Communications Intern will join the Caterpillar Global Government & Corporate Affairs Division and be challenged with real world projects and assignments that add value to the business and develop professional skills. While with us, an enterprise communications intern will contribute to projects that may include:
  • Get out the vote campaigns.
  • Employee communications portal.
  • Caterpillar Social Media campaigns.

Qualifications
  • Must be currently enrolled in a full-time, four-year accredited college or university or graduate school in one of the following degree programs: Communications, English, Marketing or similar.
  • Minimum 3.0/4.0 Cumulative GPA (no rounding)
  • Expected graduation: May 2023 and beyond
  • Proficient in Office 365 tools: PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, Yammer, Teams, etc.
  • Must be located: Washington, DC
  • Must be a participant in The Fund for American Studies (TFAS) intern program
Top candidates will also have:
  • Strong editing and writing skills.
  • Natural collaborator with outstanding interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in learning more about the U.S. political process and international policy issues.
